Director of Contemporary Worship

Hours: 15-20 hours a week.  Vacation: 3 paid weeks per year

Position Objective:

To provide values-driven leadership to the contemporary music ministry of First Presbyterian Church (FPC), a 220-year-old, 800+-member congregation within the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Position Description:

Under the supervision of the Senior Pastor, and in cooperation with the Director of Music Ministries and the Worship and Music Committee, the Director of Contemporary Worship will oversee and lead contemporary music at our 9:00 AM Fellowship Hall Service. FPC Beaver holds services in both the Sanctuary and the Fellowship Hall each week. The Sanctuary services are traditional and are the responsibility of the Director of Music Ministries. The Fellowship Hall services are contemporary and will be the responsibility of the Director of Contemporary Worship. This position will require the applicant to serve not only as a musical director, but also as an under-shepherd to the volunteers who serve in this ministry. For a position description, CLICK HERE.
